Terms and conditions of buying and ordering Liinala products.
Valid from 11.06.2020 (11th of June 2020)

Liinala reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at its discretion without prior notice so please go them through each time and before you order from Liinala or Liinala’s web store. An order shall be governed by the terms and conditions valid at the time of that order.

We sell our products to private persons of legal age.

All prices are in euros. Shipping costs are added to the price. Liinala reserves the right to change the prices and shipping costs. Changes to the shipping costs made by post will be applied in times notified by post.

BUYING

Buying products at Liinala’s webshop:
You can order the products in Liinala’s web store by adding them in to your shopping basket and by accepting your order and by paying it in the payment cashier. When ordering in Liinala’s web store we require you to read and accept our terms of delivery valid at the time of ordering.
You must understand that your accepted order confirmed by us is binding and will form together with these terms of delivery a contract between us.
It is required to inform your full name, address, e-mail address and phone number. Once you have paid your order, you will receive an order confirmation via e-mail.
Note that the products are all hand made and bigger items may take me weeks to finish. If there is a high volume of previous orders you may have to wait for weeks or even for months for your item to be ready. 
Note that since the items are all hand made, individual and unique, they may vary from the pictures shown on this site, liinala.com or on Liinala’s webshop.
The customer agrees to the terms and conditions of delivery valid at the time of each order.

ORDERING

Ordering Custom oders:
You may order products by sending me an email: info@liinala.com
Identify the product information in the email as accurately as possible and include your name, address and phone number.
We will send you an e-mail to confirm the order and give the estimated time when the product should be ready.
Note that the products are all hand made and bigger items may take me weeks to finish. If there is a high volume of previous orders you may have to wait for weeks or even for months for your item to be ready.
Note that since the items are all hand made, individual and unique, they may vary from the pictures shown on this site, liinala.com and Liinala’s web shop.
No matter how much we would want to we may not always be able to take custom orders.
Once the item is ready and you have accepted it you will receive a purchase invoice by e-mail.
A purchase agreement is concluded once I have confirmed the order by email. The customer agrees to the terms and conditions of delivery valid at the time of each order.

Please note that Liinala will store and reserve the ready product for two weeks (14days). If the customer will not confirm the purchase in that time, the deal expires.

Ordering process in a nutshell: Custom orders:
– Place an order by sending me an e-mail. Include your name, address and phone number
– We confirm the order and start working on your product
– Once the product is ready we will send you pictures and details of it by e-mail
– If you accept the product we will send you an invoice
– Once the invoice is paid we will send the product to you by mail

PAYMENT

Payments Terms
– Liinala accepts payment via Paypal. Custom orders need to be paid by a wire transfer or via Paypal (payment instructions are given by email). We deliver the products as soon as the payment is wired to my account. We store the ordered product until the due date of the invoice and the order will be cancelled if the payment has not been completed by then.

At the moment Liinala ships to: Finland, Aland Islands, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Israel, Russia, Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Bosnia And Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Greenland, Iceland, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Republic of, Montenegro, Norway, San Marino, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Holy See (Vatican City State), Canada, United States, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan.

Delivery time
Delivery details will be specified according to the destination country. Liinala will not be liable for delays caused by forces beyond our control.
A letter and a maxi letter are delivered in Finland within 2 to 3 business days. Packages are usually delivered within 1 to 2 business days.
Deliveries to EU countries take usually about a week and to countries outside EU about 1 to 2 weeks, sometimes even more than 2 weeks.
Please note that the package may also be held in customs from a week to a couple of weeks.
We will send an e-mail after an order is delivered. Depending on the parcel service you may request a tracking code by e-mail.

Delivery method and costs
We deliver the products by mail. Any small orders that fit in an envelope are shipped as a letter or as a maxi letter without the tracking code.
Larger (over 500g) orders are delivered as a package.
To Finnish customers: In the event that you would like the delivery as a SmartPost package, please let us know already when placing your order and include the desired place and address for the SmartPost collection.

Taxes and custom fees

International customers are responsible for their country’s customs, taxes, duties and/or VAT fees. All possible taxes, custom fees, duties and/or VAT fees and money transfer fees shall be paid by the customer.

RETURN POLICY

Return policy
If you’re not fully satisfied with your order, you may return purchased products within 14 days from the date on which you received them. The returned products must be returned complete and unused in their original condition and packaging. Custom orders are made-to-order products and therefore they are non-returnable.
Before sending any returns, contact us by e-mail: info@liinala.com.
After we have received the returned products and checked that the products meet all the requirements, we will return the sum of the order.
Unfortunately the cost of delivery cannot be refunded. We will refund reasonable delivery costs only if the product we have sent is incorrect or faulty.
Please note that you are responsible for the product untill it reaches us.

Cancelling and returning an order
You have the right to cancel your order in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act by notifying your cancellation to us at the latest 14 days after you have received the goods. The product must be returned to us within 14 days after the cancellation is sent.
You may cancel a custom order up until the due date of the invoice. The order must be cancelled by e-mail. The product must be returned to us within 14 days after the cancellation is sent.
Please note that Custom orders are made-to-order products and therefore they are non-returnable.
The returned product must be unused, unwashed and in it’s original condition.
Please send the cancellation notice by email: info@liinala.com and include your name, contact information, order information, the reason for your cancellation and account number.
The customer shall pay for the costs of delivery and return.
Liinala will compensate you only the product price.
The compensation shall be paid after we have received the product and checked it’s condition. Return the product by mail as a package and let us know the tracking code.
Liinala is not responsible if the returned product is damaged because of negligent packaging.

Return of a defective product
Please inspect the delivery received promptly upon receipt. If a product is missing or damaged during the transport or if the delivery is otherwise not as you have ordered or if there is defect in the product, please notify this by e-mail to: info@liinala.com promptly and at the latest within 14 days so we can agree how to correct the situation.
If the product you have ordered is defective or if you have received a wrong product you can return the product within 14 days from the date on which you received them.
Please send the return notice by email: info@liinala.com and include your name, contact information, order information and account number. Identify also the defect in the product.
Liinala will then pay for the reasonable costs of the return and compensate the paid product to the customer.
The compensation shall be paid after we have received the product and checked its condition.
The returned product must be unused, unwashed and in its original condition.
Send the product by postal package and inform us about the shipping cost for the compensation.
Liinala is not responsible if the returned product is damaged because of negligent packaging.

Failure to collect the product
If the customer does not collect the product, we charge all expenses related to the delivery from the customer and compensate only the price of the product.

If the customer fails to collect the product and wants Liinala to reship it, all the expences due to the shipment will be paid by the customer. A parcel can be re-shipped on request once.


Problems

If you need help in using or handling the product, don’t hesitate to contact us by e-mail.
If you receive a defective product or a wrong product, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the product.
If the package is damaged in the mail, contact us as soon as possible (within 14 days) to enable us to make a claim to the post office.


Limitation of liability

Liinala shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or other damage related to or arising from the order, delivery or the product, except to the extent as otherwise stipulated by the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection law or by the mandatory provisions of other applicable law.

Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms and conditions and any order of customer shall be governed by Finnish law, excluding however the applicability of CISG.

Any disagreements concerning the contract shall be primarily solved by negotiations. If the disagreement may not be solved by negotiations, you may take the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board you should contact the consumer advisors at Logal Register Offices (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi). Competent court shall be a city court of Liinala’s domicile in Finland.
